Indian company Mahindra is known in the rest of the world primarily as a producer of old-fashioned in appearance and not too modern from a constructive point of view of SUVs. Student of the European Institute of Design has developed for Mahindra concept car, which is able to open a new era in the history of the brand. Young Indian automobile designer Makrand Patil said that the concept car named Komodo primarily designed for modern, active middle-aged Indians are not necessarily burdened family. SUV maximally adapted to Indian realities and is designed to provide comfort not only on the asphalt, but also outside it.
Komodo, the designers, embodies the core values of the Indian brand – functionality, durability and reliability. Prototype is designed for use mainly on the roads: dimensions are set so that the machine could overcome very deep fords. According to some reports, Mahindra Patil inspired by the idea and is currently going to realize Komodo in metal and plastic – in the form of a full-size layout.
