Russian men’s team was the gold medalist in swimming at the European Short Course in 4×50 meters medley relay, updating the world record. Russians Vitaly Melnikov, Oleg Kostin, Nikita Konovalov and Vladimir Morozov clocked 1 minute 32.38 seconds. The previous record set earlier Thursday Team Italy (1.33,65). Italians were the second – 1.32,83 minutes bronze went to the German national team (1.33,06). European Swimming Championships FINA held in Herning (Denmark).
